Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s),
It is time to elect a new Board of Management for the school. The composition of the new Board of Management will be as follows:
· Three representatives of the Education and Training Board (ETB)
· Three representatives of the Archdiocese of Dublin
· Two teacher representatives
· Two parent representatives
The term of office for the new Board of Management will be five years. There are usually five meetings of the Board per year with the possibility of an additional small number of special meetings.
The procedure for selecting the two Parent Representatives is to seek nominations, from the parent body of the school in the first instance and then, if required, to hold an election.
I now wish to invite nominations for one Male and one Female parent/guardian to serve on the school’s Board of Management - these nominations must be submitted on this form by Wednesday 18th September, 2pm. You may nominate yourself for election or nominate another parent/guardian with their permission. Each parent/guardian can only submit one response, thanks.
