Our Facilities
Coláiste Chill Mhantáin, Wicklow is situated on a large site between Wicklow Town and Rathnew. The site encompasses a main school building which comprises of three floors linked by corridors, an extensive sports hall and gymnasium, an all-weather pitch with a surrounding courtyard of basketball courts.
Apart from our 40 general use classrooms we also have a number of specialist rooms including 3 Art Rooms, 3 Biology Laboratory, Chemistry Laboratory, Physics Laboratory, Agricultural Science Laboratory, 2 Computer Rooms, 3 Material Technology Wood/Construction Rooms, 2 Materials Technology Material/Engineering Rooms, 2 Home Economics Rooms, Dress Design Room, Geography Room, Language Laboratory, Interactive Library, Music Room, Design Communication and Graphics Room, Technical Drawing Room, 5 Learning Support Rooms and ASD unit.
The school boasts modern, well equipped networked computer rooms with internet access and appropriate subject specific software. Every student benefits from a carefully selected programme of skills including “hands on” experience word processing, spreadsheets, database, desktop publishing and use of internet.
