Both the U16 and U19 girls played two tough matches today. First up was the U19’s. In the second half, the girls put together a string of attacks, with notable scores coming from Weronika Kuzio and Alison O’Shea. The girls will have gained some invaluable experience and look forward to their next match.
Next up was the U16’s. This was the most physical encounter yet for the girls but again when asked they responded by closing down on their opponents. The best passage of play came in the 3rd quarter where we scored a number of baskets without reply. Some excellent interceptions and breaks by Caoilfhionn Ní Dhubhsláine and Malwina Wesolowska allowed Orla Kenny to get some all important scores. I Well done to all involved today.
