Coláiste Chill Mhantáin is delighted to present "All Shook Up", a love story featuring the music and songs of Elvis Presley. Set in 1955, in a small mid-Western American town, this delightful musical features Chad (played by David Mulvey) a hip-swivelling, guitar-playing young man and Natalie (played by Katie McAulay), a young mechanic, who is dreaming of love and adventure. When Chad stops to ask Natalie to fix his bike, and in doing so introduces his wild rebel music to the townsfolk, he breathes new life and awakens the spirit of romance in the town, starting a chain of events that includes mis-matched couples, mistaken identities, star-crossed lovers and unrequited passions.
Introducing a wealth of amazing young talent, this much-loved musical promises to be a riot of colour and fun not to be missed, while celebrating the joy of music, romance and passion.
"All Shook Up" opens in the School Hall tomorrow night, April 26th, and takes to the stage again on Friday and Saturday night, April 27th and 28th, with a matinée for primary school pupils on Friday.
Doors open at 7.30pm and the show commences at 8pm. Tickets are available from the School Office, Centra Rathnew, Earls Newsagents and at the door. The cast and crew are all looking forward to seeing you there!
