The list below will detail the selected texts for students in our school for the next academic year 2023-24.
If you are unsure of which level you are taking in Irish, English or Maths in Second Year - we advise you to wait to meet your teachers, in September prior to ordering your book.
It is important to note that these textbooks are often used in conjunction with Past State Exam Papers which students in Second, Third Year & Sixth Year will be required to purchase/download on the advice of their teachers.
This typically occurs as the year unfolds and are introduced to support teaching & learning while also allowing the students the opportunity to rehearse answering techniques for their state exams.
To support new and beginning families please take note of the following: in CCM, our core subjects at Junior Cycle are: English, Irish, Maths, Science, History, Religious Education, Wellbeing (CSPE, SPHE, PE) therefore all students must have books for these subjects along with their option subjects (x3) which Ms Smith, Deputy Principal, issued to you all last month.

Fifth Year Students: The school year 2023-24 sees the introduction of the Book Rental Option for Fifth Year students. We encourage students to avail of this school supported initiative to assist in easing the cost associated with Fifth Year.
