END-OF-YEAR AND EXAMS
As another school year draws to a close, we would like to wish every success to our Third and Sixth year students who are sitting their Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate exams in June. These students have worked hard and can approach their exams confident in the skills they have acquired during their years here in the school.
We would also like to thank the entire school community including students, parents, management and staff for their leadership, support and contribution to school life. We wish you all a very enjoyable Summer break.
ONE GOOD SCHOOL GOLD AWARD
We are delighted to announce that CCM has achieved the Gold Award from One Good School. Thank you, in particular, to Ms Chambers who guided the school through this process and to the students, teachers and parents for their positive engagement with it. A fantastic achievement for the school!
U20 ALL-IRELAND MIXED FRISBEE CHAMPIONSHIPS
Last weekend Ms. Hosp faced off against Cuan Beirne in his debut appearance with the U20 Ireland squad in the All Ireland Mixed Frisbee Championships. Despite some nerves at the start, Ms. Hosp's team took the game on the day, though Cuan did nearly stop her from scoring a goal in the endzone but, luckily, she was saved by a teammate!
ALL-IRELAND FINALISTS
Well done to Brooke Byrne and Reece Hughes, members of the Wicklow U14 Ladies' team which has beaten Donegal in the semi-final on a score-line of 2-08 to 1-09, with Brooke scoring 1-03. They now meet Clare in the All-Ireland Final. Well done girls and good luck to Wicklow.
