CCM TY 3 and 4 classes went to Avondale House to participate in an orienteeringevent. The classes completed the 5km Coilte Orienteering course. This brought them around the grounds of the park. The students did very well navigating around the forest and most groups found most of control points. They have spend time during their PE class learning navigation and map reading skills. They were able to put all these skills into practice while doing the course. Amy O'Donnell, Helena Pestijakova, Dylan O'Donovan and Eoin Bradley finished the course collecting the most amount of control points winning the event. Well done to all of TY 3 and 4 who took part.
