Hi all
We hope you are doing well. We have taken feedback from a number of teachers & students during the last week regarding the workload that students are reporting across the school. Taking this on board are declaring tomorrow, Wednesday 10th February, a SCREEN FREE DAY, this will be a chance to catch up and do something that you really enjoy. You have all engaged very well with online teaching and we hope you welcome this gesture.
Below is a list of suggested activities below that you could part take in; we are encouraging you all to submit you photos or video's that capture this and send it to Ms Gill (lauragill@wicklowvec.ie) for her to post it on the school's social media platforms.
Activities could include:
Go for a walk, read a book, bake a cake.
CCM Jurusalema dance challenge, get as many of your family as possible to do it at home with you.
Painting – bedroom, walls, skirting boards, shed doors, gates, etc.
Wash windows (inside and out)
Spring clean house (give parents a break)
Wash and vacuum cars,
Wash driveway, patios, decking, etc
Prepare garden for spring planting – dig out flower beds, clean plant pots
Some early root veg can be planted out now.
Cut back climbing plants.
Clean the street or grass verges in front of your house or those of a neighbour.
