BE A SU'PAW'HERO - 50 MILES IN OCTOBER CHALLENGE
Third Year SPHE students are taking part in Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland’s October challenge to reach 50 miles in October and raise vital funds for AADI's Be A SuPAWhero campaign. The aim of the campaign is to reopen the waiting list in 2022 and offer more children the life-changing support of an autism assistance dog. We are hoping to help the AADI reach its goal of raising €500,000 to train a further 25 assistance dogs. It costs €22,000 and takes 2 years to train and place an assistance dog and the charity is entirely supported by fundraising and donations.
We are also putting a call out to anyone else who wishes to join in the challenge between now and the end of the month to get involved by clicking the link below and joining the CCM 'Donate For Doggos' page! 🐶
